GitLab is "Open Core".. The CE (Community Edition) is MIT-licensed..[1] GitLab is not LibreJS-compliant.[2]

I think Trisquel should leave it for smth better. For example: Savane[3], Forgejo[4], Sourcehut[5].

I'm wondering about this as well. There's a version of Compiz-Reloaded I want to host on a git repository. However, I don't have the ability to host my own git server right now. Do you know a good gitlab alternative that doesn't require self-hosting?

You are missing one... codeberg.org

Thanks for the suggestion. Having spent so much time already (and with other things I need to do), I've decided to settle with this for now.

I'm confused. Are you suggesting that uploading the deb files only will violate their terms of service? Then I will have no choice but to take down the repository and find something else.

That doesn't make sense in my opinion, but I could be wrong.

Very peculiar though if so.

I'll contact them and see what they say.

Ok, some unfortunate news with codeberg.org. I got a reply and it looks like uploading the deb files would be in violation of their terms and service.

I've decided that I'll have to go with gitlab for now. It's disappointing, but I'll try to find some workarounds.
